    Does the MXR M80 DI+ need a cab sim?

    I might be a little slow on the uptake, but I just grabbed an M80 for direct use at church, and I've seen a few comments about it not having a speaker sim like the Sansamp. Am I misunderstanding? i thought the whole point of the DI was to be used direct in place of a amp/cab.

    Question about MXR M80 Bass DI output levels

    I just got a new M80. The XLR output level is much lower (quieter) than the 1/4 output level. Is this normal? On my SansAmp BDDI, the levels sound about the same with the switches for each output in their default positions. P.S. I did call Dunlop about this and got no definitive answer.
