    Peavey mark III centurion + orange obc410

    Hey guys, I just switched from my orange terror bass 500amp to peavey mark III ('78 - rly good buy). I was wondering, can these old amps switch ohms (cant find it)? Will it be a problem pairing it with my orange 4x10" cab (8 ohms)? I just read the amp is 4 ohms. Thanks for any help.

    SVT @ 2.7 ohms rather than 2 ohm cabinet

    I am looking at SVT heads....I don't own a 2 ohm 8x10 but own a cabinet modded 4 ohm Acoustic 8x10. I do have three TL606 EV15L 1x15 cabs each at 8 ohms so 3 of these will yield 2.7 ohms. Is this okay with an SVT to run the head at 2.7 ohms? Eventually I will probably buy an Ampeg 8x10....but...

    Ampeg Bass cabs 4 ohms and 8 ohms?

    Questions I have a 4x10" ampeg 8 ohm cab and a 15" ampeg cab both 8 ohms. What would be the reduction in sound by adding an Ampeg 4 ohm 4x10"?     hey there, if I hook two cabinets at 4 ohms, they then equal to become 2 ohms correct? Switching the impedance on my SVT makes me super nervous so I've chickened out every time I've wanted to try it haha, so I'm just making sure, thanks
