100k miles service - what should I get done?

AWD 2012 Advance TL. 101,027 miles.

I got the A02 service error thing. So mechanic I trust and know says I need the 100k service which I guess includes a timing belt. While I'm taking it in to spend $1000, what else should I do? I have no major issues, but I got it used so I'm not sure what service has been done other than oil changes. Just want to do everything I can to keep this until 200k or more.

Spark plugs? Wires/belts? Some kind of flush?

Your owner's manual will tell you everything by the mile.

That would really be a great question for a mechanic that you trust and know.

^This.
For now and every mile after this.

Also check out body work and possible rust issues.
I'd clean the wheel wells and everywhere else in the car that doesn't normally get cleaned. Detail everything.
Maybe think about upgrading the head/tail lights, brakes, wheels and rims.

Absolutely positively replace the water pump and coolant.

Try to find out if there are any open service bulletins or campaigns. Sometimes a dealer will do that stuff for free.

Is the TL affected by the Takata airbag fiasco? If yes and not already done, get that resolved pronto.

I'm kind of thinking you have an *Acura* TL, not an 'Advance' TL. 'Advance' was Acura's single-word slogan for a few years, and I'm surprised at how many people don't know what kind of car they drive.

At 100k miles, we overheated the engine of our minivan on a jeep road in the Colorado Rockies. So, make sure your cooling fans are intact and actually work. You can go for a long time with dead fans, because the engine is usually cooled by ram air, until it isn't.

This is what the manufacturer recommends:

Inspections:

Inspect front and rear brakes
Check parking brake adjustment
Inspect tie rod ends, steering gear box, and boots
Inspect suspension components
Inspect driveshaft boots
Inspect brake hoses and line (including ABS/VSA)
Inspect all fluid levels and condition of fluids
Inspect exhaust system
Inspect fuel lines and connections

Replace or service:

Replace the brake fluid every 3 years.
Replace spark plugs
Replace timing belt and inspect water pump
Adjust the valves if they are noisy.
Inspect valve clearance and adjust if necessary.
Replace engine coolant
Replace transmission fluid
Replace air cleaner element
Replace dust and pollen filter
Inspect drive belt and replace if necessary.
Inspect idle speed every 160,000 miles (256,000 km) and adjust if necessary.

Some water pumps have plastic impellers that degrade over time. The pump may not be leaking or noisy but it might be losing ability to move the maximum amount of coolant. Since the water pump (apparently) needs to be removed to do the timing belt, just replace the pump.

You should get them to take apart your odometer and set the mileage back like 95k. According to my extreme automobile expertise, it will both make your car feel brand new and tear a gaping hole into the fabric of space-time, destroying the universe as we know it in the process. It will take some time for our universe to completely die off, so in the meanwhile you can rock the roads in a brand new ride! Just my expert advice. (This is about as reliable as my automotive advice tends to be.)

This.

Radiator cap seals seem not to be like they used to be. I don't see that on Hbarcat's list. It escaped dealer attention on two of my last three vehicles, almost blowing up a motor.

Check / replace radiator cap!

Care to elaborate on how you almost lost an engine from a faulty radiator cap seal?
