100k miles service - what should I get done?

My mistake, given that inspect water pump is on the list, replace.
I drive other imports. Ones that begin with T. The T have their timing belts under a cover.

All manufacturers have their timing belts under some sort of a cover.... to leave them exposed would be a bad move. 35 years in the business and I can tell you for a fact that Honda isn't the only one to drive the water pump off it... Toyota, Chrysler, Subaru, Hyundai....... they're all guilty. Heck, even GM has driven a water pump off a timing chain... Quad 4, 2.2 & 2.4 Ecotec come to mind right off the bat.......

I'd have them look at the thingamabobber. Those always cause trouble. While they're in there, they might check the whatchamajigger too.

For future protection, at 50 and 100K I always change out all fluids, new shocks, belts, brake pads and rotor resurface or replace. And have the AC done. If the engine was well maintained and oil changed frequently, the car should last a good long time. Check out this guy on the YouTUbe for tips on how to maintain a vehicle.
