5 STRING P BASS QUARTER POUNDER

It looks like they raised the mids in the bar graph for the 5 string p bass. It shows for the 5 string model higher mids.. also the the resistance is 14k on the 5 string version and 11.5k on the 4 string version. I don't know if the makes any difference...

I would assume they wind the 3 string coil the same amount of turns as the 2 string coil so it has more wire on it.

To my ears they sound very boomy on the bottom end with a serious mid scoop and a glassy top end.

Wow, sounds like the perfect upgrade for a guy that has a 5 string P who plays Funk and likes to Slap. One mans Trash

I have the 5 string version and it is very punchy I really don;t hear a scoop..maybe that is the 4 string version sounding one only..
