I don't get it TBH, why would someone waste their time posting a carbon copy of another person's ad just to poke fun at them?
I've literally got too much time on my hands & still wouldn't waste my energy doing something like that.

Then again, some twisted stalker was trying to discredit me just this evening, but then he thought better of it.

For every young shredder that can't play anything below lightspeed, there's a million aging guys with fat calves that can't play anything but the blues, and poorly. This is what happens when you let the bass player handle the recruiting duties. All those years of pent up frustration playing second fiddle to someone moderately more attractive and outgoing (aging guitarist with a slightly more inflated ego) come out in a bloviated mess of an ad. I bet everyone in the band wears those button up bowling shirts with dragons on them, jean shorts, completed by the pork pie hat/Kangol wearing drummer. Why is life so predictable?????

I want to audition for them.

I am going to create a fantastic resume that includes pro gear, real blues, vintage gear, boutique blues, vintage yacht clubs and maybe 73 ways to use hummus so that I can make it to the top of the pile.

I will travel to Manhattan and walk in with a Yamaha EG112 and ask them where I plug in.

So long as I wear some Tommy Bahama gear and tell them how I once met an old black guy; I should land the gig.

Oh, would that it were so.... and I hope it is, 'cause yeah, then it's pretty funny/clever. Sadly, I'm too jaded and cynical to believe that, though....:rollno:
