AKG K702 + Phil Jones HA-2 = Overpriced Garbage

Watching this thread as I think a change in headphones would make my practice experience better and probably help save my hearing or at least not trigger my tinnitus so much.
UPDATE:
Got the AKG K371, and they do exactly what other headphones should have.
They have punch, are comfortable and offer plenty of headroom. Things are loud at 60%, these headphones are perfect.

I'll reiterate that it's a design fault and numbers manipulation to state the HA-2 can drive 64ohm.
They indicate they can, they in fact cannot and this was confirmed by PJ customer service that told me unequivocally that the Big Head Pro is designed exclusively for 32ohm resistance. Putting in a power amp section for the headphones side should have been a basic feature at over $300.

Be very careful when using headphones. They can definitely cause tinnitus, which is why you see all the warnings on headphones and earbuds about volume.

They don't have to be screamingly loud to cause damage.
