I still can't believe that AC/DC would think him proper to front the band they've all worked for it to become. He's like a cartoon character, and neither his physical appearance or his voice hasn't aged well AT ALL. And what's with the photo of him in a wheelchair?

The wheelchair thing, is that he wanted to do a pissing contest with Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters. He thought "I can't be worse than him...I must perform in a wheelchair too". Axl weight or everything else, well... he hasn't made anything to make up for his tardiness and late show up at gigs. I remember there was a site called roadie.net in the late 90's early 00's where they all unanimously voted him with GnR the worst artist to work with at all. Ever. All roadies, crew, stage hands. Just as I thought it would maybe the time to cut him some slack, he just makes it worse himself. As for the AC/DC gigs, just cancel the shows, and postpone them for chrissake. If someone can't do the gig, someone can't do the gig. AFAIK in this lineup of AC/DC touring now, it's just Angus Young who's the original founding member still performing. Malcolm had alzheimers disease, Rudd is under investigation and behind bars, and Johnson is not allowed by his doctors. What's left?

While I think Axl would go off well as a Dan Maccafferty impersonator inside the band Nazareth I don't think he does it nicely with AC/DC...it's sort of "what have they been smokin'...?!".

So saturated Axl is on tour.

Guns and Roses was one of the most influential bands for me. Duff was a big reason I picked up a bass in the first place.
That being said, Axl has always been a bit ridiculous, I don't think that's ever going to change. As far as I know he hasn't murdered anyone so he's got that going for him.
