Did anyone try the Singularity pickups? SINGULARITY - Bartolini Pickups & Electronics
I ordered a set for my Ibanez SR900 which original pups are the MK1's (reverse P). The MK1's didn't sound bad at all but the string-to-string balance was a bit off. I like the sound of a great single coil pickup, that's why I choose the Singularity pups.
I'll report back on the results later this week when I'm able to install them.

Yes, I have had them before and I thought they were extremely good pickups. Natural voice and strong in timbre. They are articulate, not dirty, would be my overall review.

Nice!
And what made you decide to revert back to the stock pickups? (also Barts?)
One reason I reverted to the stock pickups (not Barts) is out of curiosity as to how it sounds. Not that I didn't like the sound of the singularity (actually I loved it), but I'm more of a split coil/humbucker kind of player. The other reason was due to me being OC on the looks part, as the singularity pickups were a little bit smaller on the pickup cavities of the KZ, that the previous owner placed extra foams and a ramp to cover the gaps.

I see.
For my Ibanez SR900 I choose the SIngularities but on my EHB1500 I swapped the Nordstrands (Big Splits, sorta P pickup) with these Bartolini humbuckers (CBC). The EHB sounds way more balanced now and the annoying "clank" is gone and thumping the E sounds way better too. I was tempeted to also use these Bart CBC's in my SR900 but curious as I am I choose the Singularities.

There are more infos regarding Singularities like this. Though to my ears it sounds a little different depending on the bass?
