Bugera BT115TS Bass Cabinet (1600 Watts, 1x15")

Gears snobs. I had a 30W Behringer BX300 combo and it blew away the comparable Peavey, two of which blew up on me, which is why I bought the Behringer. It was LOUD and the compressor did a great job. My Behringer BX4500H is every bit as powerful as my previous GK 700 RBII. It's also been rock solid, as was the combo. The Veyron is getting rave reviews also even though they advertise PEAK ratings again, which is not lying or cheating by the way, it's just peak ratings. If any of you deny their ratings then it's up to you to prove it. My personal experience with the company is the ratings are legit as anybody else's. Almost all heads fall short of advertised power ratings when measured with an acceptable amount of distortion.

So they weren't designed "in house". They manufacture them and sell them. It's not the same company it was 10 years ago any more than Hyundai is, and Bugera is the Genesis of Behringer. Is a Veyron a Mesa? No. Never said it was but the bashing got old a while back. Now does anybody actually have the cabinet cuz I would like some informed opinions.
I have both a The Bugera 15" and the Fender neo 15" sitting at my house right now which I am comparing because one of them must go back to GC. It seems like all the bass cabs sound great at GC when demoing however when you get them home or gig with it can be a different story, so here's mine...I have the MB Little Tube 800 amp head and tried it with 2 different Mark bass cabs first, hated them, then tried the Bugera 115. I had gotten the 2x10 Bugera as well. I love the 15" and the 2x10 is just ok to my ears. Then I brought home the Fender neo 115 to make sure if I would actually spend that much money for a 115. After extensive side by side comparisons here is my take...Awesome quality sound goes to Fender, it smoother and sounds more traditional, however the behringer sounds awesome in a punchier and a bit dirtier type sound. I find the Bugera to be more in your face. If I had to take own just one I would take the Fender and take the hit to the wallet just for the reputation alone. Both sound great so guess what?
Suddenly I'm keeping both and I have a great 2x115 setup. Gotta love the gear card and payment plan.

Sounds like the Fender would stack beneath the Bugera, based on your sound comparisons.

You are correct! Here is my setup and it rocks...I find it much better sounding than using the Bugera 2x10 with either of the 1x15's...besides that I have an old Carvin 2x10 combo (heavy) with Eminence speakers in it I can use for a 2x10 if necessary so I'm taking the Bugera 2x10 back today. It sounded ok but my Carvin still sounds awesome.

SOOOO Two used Eden 410s could be found for $800 that will give ginormous booty!

Yes, that driver might handle 750 watts RMS, but not 1600 watts AND it would likely sound not so great for bass guitar. From my testing of earlier versions (there may have been some changes), they are not nearly as forgiving when overdriven, and they are kind of dark as well. Doesn't mean t hat they can't work, but with the thick, stiff cone and stacked differential drive VC's/motor, the non-linearity response is quite different when run full range.

I think your 2x15" cab must have had a lower frequency than what you have now, or for whatever reason, sounded lower.

If my rudimentary knowledge is sufficient, what you need to be aiming for is a deeper sounding (probably larger) cab, with a good match of driver(s), and that will match well with your other cab. Might be 15s, might not.

That's a bitchin 2x15 stack. Don't get caught up in specs. I know Bugera uses peak ratings but for the money they make solid products. It's all about the sound, well the weight too for old farts like me.

A 2x15 matching pair would give you the 15 sound you miss.

But the output SPL wise of your 412 is much much higher than a single 15.

It would take a 2x15 to be decently audible with a 4x12.

Another matching 4x12 would add more low-end. And be more magical
