Tomorrow they will be shutting off the power in every home that was flooded in the area. Luckily we were not flooded but they will probably screw up and shut our power off on a holiday weekend, with the luck I am having lmao. On a good note, I went fishing today off my driveway and got one bite. But trucks kept coming through the street and then turning around right after my house because it's too deep up the street towards the bayou area. So they scared the fish away.
I have seen Catfish in the water and crawfish burying themselves in our lawn where it meets the cement which is hysterical lol. I took a video of a small catfish taking off at the end of our driveway too. I have to add Flood Fish to my catch and release fishing list! Next year when you are up near Centerville, you need to contact me before and I will give you some venison or wild hog meat to cook. I have a food saver vacuum sealer machine and will probably have a deep freezer full of meat and lots of venison jerky. I make venison jerky that has very low sodium and my own thick bacon with my smoker. Hope your friends over here are doing well.
