US: Midwest Chicago Spring GTG 2017. Already happened.

I'll be there as well, bringing soda. As for gear, I'm torn between bringing my Lakland Duck Dunn in shoreline gold with Dark Star, and my Lakland Decade with Chi-sonics in root beer sparkle. If anyone has a preference, let me know.

Dang, that's tough!
I like both, but maybe leaning towards the Dunn?

I'll Bring my Brown Bomber dual-darkstar franken-bass and my 4 string Carlo. If it gets here in time I'll also bring my new Wendler fretless.

I'd like to try the Scheff, Doug, it's been a long time since I've played one. And definitely bring the Packer bass, I want to see it.

I'll likely bring the fodera imperial along with a bergantino CN 2x12 and my glock blue soul. Any pedal requests?

And again, I'll be driving From evanston with room for 1 more and some gear. Hit me up if you'd like a ride.

Sounds good. Hope you can make it. Feel free to bring along any instruments you have questions about.

Thanks so much to all who came. It was great to be surrounded by such a truely good group of people. Really overwhelming and I still haven't got everyone's names and TB handles figured out!

Great selection of basses also. Handmade boutique customs, production goodies, American standards, homebuilts and even a cool selection of pawn-shop oddities and treasures.

I'll check back in tomorrow with pictures. In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions for ANYTHING that could make next year's GTG (oh yeah, there will be another...) better, please comment now while it's fresh in your mind.

Thanks @Eilif for hosting this boss event! Had a BLAST. So many amazing basses AND players in that room. Can't think of any improvements to suggest at the moment. Looking forward to continuing conversations also. And relieving some of the GAS y'all gave me. :D

Let's see how many pics I can upload before the forum software gets grumpy...OK, 20's the limit. Continued in next post. If anyone objects to anything I've uploaded, let me know and I'll delete it out.
