Earthquaker Devices Blumes

I got a used plumes on a whim because it was pretty cheap, and was surprised that it became one of my favorite pedals.

I wonder how this new blumes will differ?

guess I have to wait a couple days ...

Very interesting. Almost forgot I had a Plumes for a month or so. Needed it for a project, but it was only like 2 measures and was supposed to be snarly but not necessarily bassy, so I don't really recall if it lacked lows. Gotta assume it did if EQD made this. Good for them.

I’m intrigued. Maybe I’ll buy one when I join my next band (just quit one, so it’s hard to justify new equipment right now).

Earlier I was thinking I need a boost pedal before my B7K, and this could be a great choice!

How is zoar with bass. I’m always frustrated when I like the sound of something but it sucks away the low frequencies.
It’s great! It’s actually pretty dang similar to a Damnation audio MBD but the Zoar has a 3 band EQ instead of a tone and shift. The Weight knob works just like the depth on the MBD it retains low end very well. You can definitely over do the low end on the Zoar, it isn’t like the Westwood, which I also really like in bass, where you have to pretty much dime the bass control to get the low end you expect.
The demo EQD did on YouTube has a good representation of what it sounds like on bass.

I bought the MBD3 on black Friday sale but the Zoar was very close to being bought price, size, & versatility still makes it a very enticing pedal.
Walrus 385 MKII will be my next dirt pedal if I get one. Both of my pedalboards dirt options are very solid.

Does Zoar fuzz or it gets close to the territory? I'm not sure if its different enough to have alongside my MXR M85 (RAT-based)
