Fender Limited Player Plus x Blu DeTiger Jazz Bass, what?

Arrived today…
Jazz+Humbucker? Chambered? Active/ Passive? Sparkle finish/mirrored pickguard? Price discounted?
Had to give it a shot.

That was probably me. Mine arrives today.
$1k free shipping. 8.2 lbs, brand new . Too good to pass up.

I saw the listing, rushed down to one of local GC stores the following morning to try one out. It was pouring rain and I was the 1st one in the door. I spent an hour playing the bass. Besides the high action , I loved it. On my 35 minute ride home , I phoned the store , asked questions , walked in the door and purchased it from Reverb.

Although it’s a very nice bass and with a lot of versatility, its weight is the most interesting feature.

(Honey, do you think I need another jazz bass ? :rolleyes: )

Mine finally showed up 3 days late and damaged. Im getting a refund and sticking with what I have. EBMM and Sandberg quality , feel, and body shape/size has really spoiled me. The bass sounds fine , and if you like the Jazz body size and some of the unique features, this bas is a real winner and looker. Im not going through the stress of ordering another one . Im good .

That's so disappointing. Yeah, if it's the same gig bag I'm thinking of, it's only slightly better than the covering they use for a suit at a tailor shop. Well maybe not that bad but still not the best option. That being said, I'm surprised these would come with that low grade of a gig bag. I'm glad you were able to return and get a refund.

An instrument at that price point should come with a decent bag. I don't think anyone would argue with that.
