personally, i'm in love with TI rounds. btw, they feel & sound very flatwound, imo.
Welcome to the low-tension, rich mids, versatile world of TI jazz flats I love them too.
i saw a banner ad for this new company. it's an off-shoot startup that does the hand wound thing. i ordered a set of nickel and a set of red copper.

are they flats?
I have only two regrets, musically.
1. That I kept taking my TI's off thinking I might find a string I like better. Nope. Ain't happening.
2. That I didn't buy a Godin A4 when they came out. I absolutely love the sound of them.
Yup, I just put my old set of TI's back on my P this morning. Love 'em.LOL i have taken them off so many times and spend hundreds of dollars on other strings and there is just nothing like them. they are magnificent.
Also switched from Chromes to TIs (about a year ago) and majorly feel in love with the low tension. If you like bouncy, you should try them tuned down, I tune mine to B and they've got some serious boing!I recently switched from D'Addario chromes to the TI flats on my P-Bass. I couldn't be happier. Nothing against the chromes, but the TIs work so well for me; especially in terms of feel. I LOVE the tension, as I'm into "bouncy" strings.
