First song you ever performed on stage.

My first official live performance was in 1990/1
I was in an originals band, myself on bass and Jason on vocals / guitar and I had an old Casio keyboard that had about 8 built in drum patterns and that was our drummer for about a year - before we got an 'actual' drummer
It was Jason's 21st and his cousins band were playing and we were the 'opening act' so to speak
We used their amps and we had about 6 songs in total and performed them all.
I wasn't nervous at all... we just played our songs and that was it
can't say I remember too much about that night

Not counting elementary school concert band or marching band -- in which I played flute -- the first songs I ever played onstage were originals written by me and/or my bandmates. iirc we had five tunes in our repertoire when we got hired for our first gig: I played flute on two of them, guitar on one, and bass on the other two. For our second set, we just repeated those same five originals.

But I can't recall the names of any of those songs.

“Unsung” by Helmet. I was also forced to cover lead vocals, 8th grade. We were the first “rock band” the school had ever seen form by students… they should not have had 8th grade come in 6th period (last hour of the day) because when the lights came on and the mosh pit broke out….

We got suspended for “instigating a riot”….
