Flats on a fretless?

I have a Fender Am. Std. Fretless Jazz with Fender Nickel-Plated Steel Flats. They are easy on the fingers and easy on the fingerboard. The bass sits in the mix nicely for just about any application. The Franklin Bass has a different pickup configuration, so YMMV.
