Free editor for Zoom pedals: B1on, B1Xon, MS-60b

The ToneLib is an application for Win and OSX which allows you to see, change and save all the settings in your Zoom pedal through your computer. Intuitive drag-and-drop interface will allow you to build your Effect Chain and design the sound you need in the easiest way.

As soon as you’ve reached the sound to your liking, you can save it both on your personal Zoom device and your computer, or even share it with other.

At present, the program works with (latest firmware):
B1on, B1Xon, MS-60b, G1on, G1Xon, MS-50g, MS-70CDR

You can download it from the downloads section www.tonelib.net. The program is free. Enjoy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Denis (tonelib dev)

I can confirm it works well on the B1Xon. There is control of the patches, and a nice patch saving feature, particularly good for different gigs set up. There is also a feature which is online patches at Tonelib, which is awesome.

Well done. Thanks for sharing it.

So far, no bugs using firmware 1.30, Win 10 64.

Is it possible for ToneLib to work with edited firmware? I injected a few g3n effects and can see them on the pedal and inside Zoom's GuitarLab but they don't display within ToneLib... I assume the expected effects list is hard coded based on the device/firmware connected?

Hey, I have the same question. I successfully added some amps & effects from the G1 Four to my B1 Four. Now Guitar Lab wont recognise my pedal but Tone Lib does. It would be cool if Tone Lib worked with added effects somehow.

Hi,

I just stumbled on this wonderful piece of software yesterday. Upon plugging it in, it works great except for one rather large issue. While working on patches on my MS60B, ToneLib Zoom erased my Amp/Cabsim patches and replaced the Amp with a bypass on each one. By the time I’d noticed, it had erased all my amp patches (lucky only 2) and replaced them with bypasses. Please see attached screen capture.

Just a suggestion also, maybe add a way to reverse the signal path on screen to match the pedal. The MS60B signal path goes from right to left, like a pedal board in series, while TonLib runs from left to right like an AxeFX. It was just a little jarring is all.
