Hi, I'm on a quest for a new fuzz that is top notch for my bass but want also a fuzz well suited for my guitar. I already have a Pharaoh and a Superfuzz for playing guitar. Both good with the bass but I'm looking for reknown fuzz for my bass playing. Here are my favs :

Darkglass Duality
Walrus Audio Jupiter
Death by Audio Apocalypse (or Fuzz War)
Dwarfcraft Baby Thunder

Anyone had the chance to compare some of them? Which one would you choose?

When I started my fuzz search many of the learned effects freaks here pointed me straight toward this. I'm glad they did. My fuzz search is over. The guitar demos are pretty sweet too.

Haven’t compared them but the Duality has been on my board for about two years now. Really like it. Great by itself and paired with other pedals. try it with an analog octave before it, chorus, modulated delay, even tremelo after it. When i use it by itself I tend to have the Duality knob at about 1 o’clock. If I’m pairing it with others pedals I like to turn the Duality knob all the way counter clockwise so it’s all the gated fuzz.

i use this for my bass or guitar ... Dr Scientist ' the elements ' ... a few modes/switches / eq / etc ...
it seems to have fairly endless possibilities if one uses their imagination .. ! and the exp pedal / blend makes it very versatile ' on the fly ' ... !
