G&L basses in-stock at the factory?

G&L must've moved enough of the available 2022 instruments to satisfy themselves. They've reduced their discount on older instruments from 20% to 10%.

That's still a sweet deal, and I'll also add my usual discount on top of that to make it even sweeter. Right now, that would apply to the first 4 basses shown in post #275. PM me if you'd like a quote.

There are a handful of new instruments on the BTO available list! Let me know if you want to grab one!

Here's an updated list of basses available at the factory. You'll notice that the prices now reflect the recent price drop.

These instruments also now have an official name: Builder's Choice. That basically means they are made from the Build To Order options list, but they're spec'd by someone at G&L rather than by a customer or dealer. The price is the same whether BTO or Builder's Choice, they're just designating these factory spec'd ones this way from now on.

I haven't seen many LB-100s with block inlays. I'm sure they are out there, but kinda rare IME

That's the only option available on the Tribute series (at least in my part of the world).

I just found a USA made LB-100 at an amazing price, here in the U.K. but it's got Rosewood & dots, so I'm going to have to pass, unfortunately.

BTW - the build codes CSN and NSN had me stumped, so I reached out to G&L for clarity. Turns out they both refer to the same thing: Clear Satin Neck and/or Natural Satin Neck. That used to be the default neck finish, so it didn't need to be called out. But now Light Tint Satin Neck is the default finish, so we'll be seeing CSN or NSN whenever there's no tint in the neck finish.

Never a dull moment trying to keep up with the ins and outs of G&L!

Well, a tint being the default is a bonus, as far as I'm concerned.

Vintage tint would be even better.

They're all free now (as of the 2023 price lists), so you can have whatever tint you like at no charge. When custom ordering, that is.

Now it only costs to go to a gloss neck finish (+150 USD), and those are also available in Clear, Light Tint or Vintage Tint.
