My old back and shoulder would like that!IME, they usually do make them balance. I've seen probably 10-ish basses around that weight, and they all balanced just fine. They seem to always pick a lightweight neck to make that happen.

Can't speak to 6.8 lbs, but my 7 lb LB100 balances just fine.A 6.8 lb LB-100? Wonder how that balances.
That LB-100 at 8.6lbs ..... Blocks on Indian Rosewood ..... and "8NK" ..... that'll go quickly .....
I was so expecting that!Right you are, it didn't last long... I just ordered it for inventory!
I haven't seen many LB-100s with block inlays. I'm sure they are out there, but kinda rare IME
BTW - the build codes CSN and NSN had me stumped, so I reached out to G&L for clarity. Turns out they both refer to the same thing: Clear Satin Neck and/or Natural Satin Neck. That used to be the default neck finish, so it didn't need to be called out. But now Light Tint Satin Neck is the default finish, so we'll be seeing CSN or NSN whenever there's no tint in the neck finish.
Never a dull moment trying to keep up with the ins and outs of G&L!
Well, a tint being the default is a bonus, as far as I'm concerned.
Vintage tint would be even better.
whats the string spacing at the bridge on current 4 string models?
is it possible to purchase a bridge to install on an older model with thighter string spacing? It's 3/4" (aka 19mm).
