I wandered into the local store to look for a Squier for a mod project. Lo and behold there was a 2019 Player Strat and the price tag was fair. Of course I pulled it down and plugged it in. Thing plays and sounds like a dream.

I traded in an Ibanez Artcore I wasn’t really playing anymore, so after trade value I got the Player for $217.

I’ve had Fender basses but this is my first Fender guitar. Im a happy camper!

I plan on screwing down the tremolo, switching to block saddles (for palm muting comfort) and modding for master tone. But that’s about it, everything else is fantastic.
