Spending more time with this though, I'd actually happily play any of these as long as I could get Chrome or Gold Thunderbird pickups instead of soapbars

If I ever got anything from this site it'd be that shape and headstock. Just wish they had the option of vintage tuners!

I cannot argue this. But I am very pastoral and just cannot bond with those designs. I don't even like painted bass bodies.

Nearly every bass here is outstanding looking, and would probably play and sound fantastic! That J with the twin MM pickups and no inlays? just sexy.... and the extreme ones are awesome.
