The Steve Harris Rotos are a unique beast. I love them, and I love chromes. They're quite bright like chromes but have a very aggressive sound that's all their own. They're big, so you'd likely need to file your nut to get them on your current bass. But it'd be a cheap thing to try before diving into a new bass.
