This tone argument is very subjective. You can get any tone that you want most of it on your pick up configuration the wood you use. In my opinion, if you’re gonna use a brass saddle, bridge You probably have woods and pick ups that have a lot of output or have a lot of zing to it where you want to even out the tone a little bit.
For example, if you have a maple top maple neck and 70s pick ups. This is already a very bright sounding instrument so to add steel saddles would be making it even brighter.
To add brass saddles Would that tone out a little more However, if you want to make the tone brighter, you can get that from your amp or should be able to get it from your amp. A bridge does not have very much effect on your tone. It’s all in the player. I think everybody should just buy a very cheap instrument and play like you play. The tone Comes from your hands and your ear.
