I have passed on three outdoor gigs coming up because of the heat that is predicted ..........not dealing with it .

My BL cancelled a gig a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be 101 degrees, heat index to make it feel like 111 degrees. Outdoors, under shade, but between a few buildings so almost no breeze. The crappy thing was, there is a building right next to where we play (literally 20 feet away) that is air conditioned and has had plenty of room to play in it (think airplane hanger size with multiple rooms) the last three years we've played there. She asked if we could play inside, they said no. We're not a loud band, so I'm not sure what their problem was. Most likely the last time we'll play there.
