Double Bass How about a list of EUB's?

There is a great company out of Paducah, KY called Rob Wave Guitars. They Built this upright for me. It has a b-band under the bridge and they also added a magnetic pickup. I love this instrument. Here is a picture of the bass and a picture of Brian Ritchie of the Violent Femmes playing my Rob Wave bass

I play a Yamaha EUB. The model is Yamaha SVB-200. Its nice and I find I enjoy its tone and playability more than the acoustic uprights at my school, but I am VERY VERY far from being an expert on the topic.

I am a predominantly electric player who also takes calls on upright, all for jazz or society-oriented work which does not require a bow. I started using a fretless Barker bass a year ago and loved it -- it gets a gorgeous, deep, woody sound that I actually like a lot better than my double bass's sound.
Technically it is way easier to play because of the electric (34") scale, and the maintenance is identical to that of any other electric bass. I use tapewound strings on it. This bass cannot be bowed but that was not a big issue for me.
Aesthetically speaking, it's the easiest on the eyes of any EUB I have ever encoutered. I get nothing but great feedback on the look and the sound everywhere I take this bass.
