Saw a pic of your production Model Ibanez... it looks Killer! Any word on the specs/differences between your custom shop model. I saw they stuck with the Purpleheart fingerboard and Bart electronics.. same pickups as your sig?

Me too. I suspect the price will be 1500-2500'ish. Hope Adam can give us an idea. In the market now, but will hold off if the price is in the right ballpark.

hey y'all, thanks so much for the interest! i'm absolutely thrilled about this bass. specs are absolutely identical to the hand-built custom. same custom bartolini electronics, same body/neck/fingerboard woods, same string spacing (18mm) same hardware, etc, etc... the only difference is the color, which as you have seen is a lighter hue and slightly different burst than the custom. don't quote me on this, but price will probably be in the $2200 range. i have the prototype at my house, and it plays and sounds amazing. i'm very excited.

A Soundgear with wide spacing.. US Barts.. Finally! I don't get excited about gear much these days, but this one has my full attention. I think I read it will make it's official debut at NAMM, so I'm guessing it goes on sale early 2016..

Small cover houses a single battery, the 2nd is in the main cavity.
