What kind of bass/bass brand or model would Jaco Pastorius use if he'd be alive today?

EDIT: Him being quite a progressive bass player I could imagine he'd go for something else than the 'ordinary' Fender Jazz Bass (!?)

I'd speculate he'd have gone full circle back to URB at some point, able to overcome the environmental conditions that caused him to move to electric. But he'd still play a number of electrics. I also think he'd have played a lot more piano, at least for writing and arranging, and who knows, maybe fretless guitar?

Obviously change is part of life. I could imagine him getting interested in all kinds of music, which is why I feel he might adopt another bass to be his most prominent weapon of choice.
