Does anybody know yet what we're talking or not talking about?
It could be the after party... I cant tellIs this thread just a trailer to the actual thread?
Everyone seems to be guessing bad sound, I'll throw in unexpected political content, social commentary, a pro/anti legalization stance, or whatever other opinion that you had no idea you were helping to promote & would have steered clear of otherwise.
"Disrespectful recording"...maybe they were being taped by a guy who held the camera in one hand and held up his middle finger with the other. That's disrespectful recording!
So assuming it is a recording the OP wishes could be un-recorded, don't worry, it's not the end of the world. You may be familiar with an awesome band called Tool, who had a hit song in the 90s called "Sober" which was written by their singer.
What many don't know is that the singer, Maynard Keenan, wrote that song for his previous band and made a video with that band. I am guessing he wasn't happy with how that video turned out, but he did go on to form Tool and become an actual rock star after all.
BTW, for those of you who think looks don't matter in music performance, take note:
And this is how Tool plays the song. Same singer.
Even TV that should be able to produce live music, like the Today Show, often do a horrible job. It's harder than it looks.IME, most broadcast TV and radio people don't know a whole lot about live sound. Ironic, but true.
You come here to rant and don't even give us all the juicy details of WHY you're ranting??
Was this your band?
