List of some of the lightest weight single 12in cabs please

AudioKinesis cabinets are definitely worth trying out. Quite light and extremely powerful.

As a lead guitar player I didn't know of all the small light weight bass heads out there until recently , but are there a lot of good cabs with a 12 in the 20 to under 30 pound range ? 200 250 watts would probably do for small club fill ins on bass I do , no PA support needed , but would probably want a speaker that could handle 400 or so to be safe , for now just using small combos, but as I get a older I can see the time will come to go feather weight for everything , one name that popped up here was "Barefaced" ? looked like from there website a small 12in would be all i would ever need , just want to get a idea of whats out there in light, decent 12 in. single cabs to consider for the future , Thanks .
I believe my Bergantino HDN 1-12 comes in @ 28 lbs

My bass players lower back and hernia repair Love it !

Can handle Plenty of power

Right at 30 pounds there's the Vanderkley 112EXT. Killer tone, great power handling for it's weight (the 112MNT is a bit heavier at 30 lbs and is even more of a beast) and it's got great looks. The only problem is that you have to import it. No difference from Barefaced but it's still a consideration.

Personally I love my 212MNT as it kills in any live setting.

Good luck with your search and I hope you find the right cab for you.

Looks like there is no shortage of choices ! The hard part would be which one to pick , my needs I think would be pretty simple just being loud enough for small to maybe med. gigs, and a basic clean sound for older style traditional country bass , so I am guessing most any of the ones mentioned would work for that ?? I love the under 30 pound part ! I think the local music store may have the Bergantino cab in 112 ? I wonder if the best way to pick would be going with the most power handling capability in the speaker, so no strain , and the most efficient DB rating ?? I will probably use combos for a while but for sure plan on going to this super light weight stuff in the future , I think it will help with the aching joints LOL :)

If you can manage to somehow try the cabs out in a live situation with a full band that's really the best way to pick. I would take a close look and listen to the Bergantino cab you suspect your local music store might be carrying. See if they'll rent one out so you can try both lugging it and playing it in a real world performing scenario. Or the same for any other of the suggested cabs in this thread.

Several years back I thought Combo was the answer; 1- lift n haul. Very efficient but I still found my GC Acoustic 200B Combo too heavy

So I bought 200B separate head n cab

2 trips but much easier on my back and hernia repair Combo stayed at home and separates went to gigs/ practice

Alas now all stays home; no band no gigs no practices

Yes...Aguilar SL112....and Markbass NY121. Someone mentioned Bergantino - great sounding cabs. But, a lot of the tonalities are somewhat unique to these cabs and so might, or might, fit the bill depending on your musical genre requirements and your individual playing style. Also...Phil Jones has some interesting things to say about cab wattage....research that info...
