So, I posted a thread a couple weeks ago about wanting an 80s bass. I've gotten very close to pulling the trigger on several. And, honestly, I couldn't figure out why I didn't.

Then it hit me.

I've been looking for a bass like the one I actually owned back in the 80s. It was a Forum with Spector PJ pickups, volume, tone, and three-way selector. And it was pink. I don't mean baby pink, or shell pink. I'm not even talking about neon or florescent pink. I'm talking about burn your eyes out pink!

Before I buy a different 80s bass, I want to reach out to you guys to see if you can find one. It looked exactly like this.

Whataya say, TalkBass? Can we solve another one?

I had this exact bass in white, let me dig through my brain and think about it.

Pretty sure it was a Kramer Forum III or IV, with a schaller bridge that had adjustable saddles both forward/backward and side to side.

These were notoriously difficult to resell because the serial numbers were glued on with some cheap material. Those almost always fell off through normal use. Mine did. That's probably why you don't see these for sale at GC or Musicgoround, etc.

I'll edit this post when I recall anymore info. I sold mine locally 5 years ago.

It's a Kramer Forum III. The color is called electric purple.

PM me, I have one that you may want, and the local shop also just took in 2-3 80's basses in on trade.
