Mail order surprise

If it's OK with you, I'd like to adopt your son in law for the next year...or several.

Even if it's not OK, with you, I still want to. I'll be the strange guy at your next family barbecue, chatting him up, and bringing him beers.

Came home from my stress test at the cardiology clinic and my wife says "look in the living room - Santa Claus brought you something." So I look and it's a big cardboard box. She says it's from our son-in law. So I open it and it's a freaking brand new sunburst Fender Jazz Bass. Now that just about gave me a heart attack!

Your wife is DEFINATELY a keeper! Sweet axe.

But way, I hope all is well with the old ticker. My caridiologist has a great saying, “ Stay on your meds, stay out of KFC, get some exercise on a regular basis, and you’ll be around a long while. Take care.

Im layin in a heart hospital right now cause my heart went on a 3 hour avant garde improv jazz solo yesterday.

What a lovely welcome home surprise!

Congratulations! I'm way jealous and I gotta show this thread to the wife immediately.
Tell your wife immediately! We have documented evidence that receiving a Fender J in the mail is associated with positive stress results.

But what a way to go, eh?

You taught your daughter well.

Congrats.

Wow, scary stuff.
Hope you’re ok, and that your heart gets back to straight 4/4 and stays away from the crazy stuff.

I wish you (and everyone) a Healthy & Happy 2018 and beyond!
