Miss Indonesia is a bass player

You must be attractive I unfortunately am old and ugly so the desire is definitely there. :) and back in the old days these girls would've been called fat because of their curves I much prefer the ladies in the pagents these days more than the stick figures back then.

Funny how that changes over time and how beauty to one is ugly to another. I much prefer the stick figures. I guess its good since I much prefer my slim petite 55 yr old wife over 99% of models nowadays.

That's true but at my age I'm looking for someone that can pick me up out of my wheelchair when the time comes. :)

Physically, they're all generic and boring. It's pretty much a requirement for the job.
The kind of girl you admire but don't desire.

I don't understand why you posted that. Seriously, nothing you say will ever make me even begin to have the first iota of comprehension. I'm not asking for an explanation, because it would be wasted. I just wanted to mention that I am every bit as uncomfortable with comments about seriously attractive women as I am about less than attractive women, physically speaking. Why would any of us care whether or not you desire that young lady? Was there a chance you two would be getting together? She has been coming on to you, and you're just sick of it?

I don't know if I would have said it the way @Jazz Ad did, but I know what he means. The whole pageant process, to me, is a rather bizarre exercise in female image-making. It pushes contestants into making themselves up as these plastic glam barbie dolls rather than natural human beings. It's a beauty contest that doesn't reward what I find beautiful in people. No, I don't expect to be dating any of them. But I don't like the idea of our daughters getting the message, "this is an ideal you're falling short of, this is what people want you to be." Just my $0.02.

That's as different to what he said as Coke is to a Jet Plane.

Miss Philippines could wake up with a head full of rollers and a piece of spinach caught between her teeth and still be smoking. SMH

When I was in college I dated a girl for about a year, who participated in those pageants. I hate to say it, but she was one of the most horrible human beings I ever had the pleasure to have sex with. And I'm not joking.

When I first heard of this flub, I laughed and didn't have any sympathy whatsoever. When I watched the video, I gotta admit that was pretty frikken bad. Don't know how rich Steve Harvey is, but I think he should drop that girl a million or 2 or 3 in amends for the public humiliation.

A friend of mine shared this - it explains a lot. I half expect a hanging chad on the card.

How Bad Design Wrecked Steve Harvey's "Universe".

Hmmm.... I dunno. I suck with this kind of stuff, but that card didn't confuse me. Not saying he's an idiot, I like Steve Harvey and think he's very much on the ball, but I can't see passing the blame onto anyone else. Of course they could have written the card better, and I'm certain they will in years to come, but the original card was pretty simple and clear cut. IMO, anyway.

It's his job to read cards. IT'S WHAT HE GETS PAID TO DO!!!! :)

I don't know that I would say she's generic and boring. To each their own I guess, but I find her very attractive. I love curvy brunette's. She looks pretty "real" to me. She is thin but not emaciated.

As a dad I don't like the body imagery that is thrown at my 9 year old daughter every day, and we try very hard to make sure she has realistic expectations. That said, I have no problems with that picture.

The whole pagent thing, that's another topic.

Harvey slacked and will never forget it,... too bad. the pageant is a sham anyway, so they should've just ran with it.
it doesn't really matter, imo. same thing with sports, lol. most people in the universe don't give a damn, we're trying to eat. :D

It's very clear to me how that mistake went. You're live on stage, you're nervous - you read the the name next to "1st". Why'd they hide Miss Universe in the bottom right corner? That's the last place your eyes look when reading something...
