I had a "shake and bake" table for accelerated aging years ago, but these days experience and modeling goes a long way towards getting to the same place... and it's so much quieter
You talking about age instruments? Does it work?
Awe I've heard of doing both.. To wear in a neck and testing soldiered components.Aging of amplifiers for reliability purposes.
Mil spec I hope!Awe I've heard of doing both.. To wear in a neck and testing soldiered components.
Military specs for electronic? LolMil spec I hope!
Military specs for electronic? Lol
Absolutely, I worked for a guy who had a multi-million dollar business manufacturing mil spec wire and connector harnesses for both the military and aerospace industry. I went through the inspection program and learned the ins and outs of qualifying a part through the various standards for certification. So much depended on traceability of components, materials, the processes the tolerances and the testing. That's why the parts are so much more expensive.
so for anyone who don't follow that.. they literally try to break every component. if it survives the hell they put it through. It goes up for sale.. you pay a small premium but there's less chance of getting bad part..
great parts are worth the cost if you are going use them..For real military qualified parts, it's a lot more than a small premium.
It's more about insuring quality and reliability through design, fabrication and inspection than it is testing it after it's manufactured.
Do you think this arrangement can cause problems?
I think that's how drummers get their training.Hi Emre Hanli
You have to be careful with your mixer!
Accidents can happen when you use it!

Only if they are necessary. The parts may be the same but the additional paperwork, traceability and testing is what adds much of the cost.great parts are worth the cost if you are going use them..
