Musicman sub for 150 euros

There is a concept that I call “Guitar-ma”, Guitar Karma. I’ve been practicing it for almost 40 years, and it’s never let me down. Negotiate a price that’s fair for both of you, and you’ll both be happy. (Over the years I’ve gone out of my way to take care of other people, and when the situation has been the other way around, people have taken care of me, too.)

What goes around, comes around.

Word. Paying it forward with the karma is important. A month ago, my basement flooded, and I posted a "oh poor me" thread about some of my pedals biting the dust. Out of nowhere, one of the badasses on here sent me a Way Huge Swollen Pickle for the cost of shipping. Waiting for an opportunity to do something similar for someone here.

Well i just told her what is probably worth and now we are going to decide the price together. But i need a price Thats nice for me and here

That's a great bass, and a very low price.

Is it the active one?

Over here, it would probably go for around £400-500. A value of £450 would be considered a fair deal, but not 'a bargain'. If she's a friend and wants to offer you a good price while still making some money I would suggest something around £375-400, considering the 'artwork' added to it etc. You can sometimes find them for less, but that's very rare and usually not in good condition.
That's for 'normal business'. In this case it sounds like she was happy with 150, and you're trying to be nice once you figured the bass is worth a bit more... so maybe going to 250-300 can make *both* of you feel like you both got a nice deal? Dunno. It's hard to talk money when it's somebody else's ;)

If it's the passive one (no battery on the back) then the value will be a bit lower.

These have been popping up for cheap on occasion. I'm assuming it's due to SUB bass name confusion between USA and more recent import models. There was an all black USA SUB on the Orlando facebook marketplace for $300 a week or two ago. I was tempted just because it was such a good deal, but EBMM basses don't really suit my preference and playing style, so I passed. If it had been the turquoise finish I may have been swayed just out of nostalgia... I remember drooling over that color combo when I first saw them in the early 2000's

The SUB has been my one and only bass for years.
