Are you planning on any other builds? Maybe a five or six string? I just bought a five string electric, I am very interested to see what you could come up with next. I have been extremely motivated by your videos! I hope to be posting pics or videos of my first build soon, although I think my first build is going to be a dreadnaught acoustic! Keep up the magnificent work!

I am tinking about an acoustic guitar or another Les Paul model which I may call v2 (version 2 of the first I've built). But, I will think about a six string too...
You should try an acoustic! Check out Acoustic Bass : Georgia Luthier Supply, Quality Guitar Plans, Tools, And Building Materials to select some very good 4 or 5 string pattern. I just bought the 4 string pattern and I subscribed to The Luthiers EDGE for more good info.

I have been following your videos since day one and i think i know your secret. It is that table! This may seem a bit weird but i hope you would consider bequeathing the table to me in your will!

What was it that you just cut up to make the nut out of?
When watching you do your work I'm constantly thinking "this is so dodgy it can't possibly work out well" and then I see the finished product and am blown away.

That are some cow horns connected to each other to make it like a big one and to produce a sound like this:
So, it was broken in two parts and my wife told me to throw it away... then I decided to try to make a nut with it before putting in into the trash.

I was working at the company in other city last week... now at home again.
Next post: day 42.
I ditn't know about nut made of horn. That was my first experience with it.
One guy in other bass guitar forum told me that is common in USA to make them of buffalo and deer horns. Maybe if you "google" for it you will find something.
