My wife wants me to quit music so I'm going to sell everything and spend it on her...

Don't tempt me. After all the "I'm selling off my stuff and quitting" threads I had to come up with a thread title to top them all.
Happy to have inspired your title, but to be truly effective you need to somewhat substantiate it. I therefore feel you need to woodshed and practice a great deal more before making another attempt at this. While your efforts might be appreciated by some, to me they're much like a band who cannot yet play, yet wants to get on a stage as quickly as possible, just for the glory aspect of it. Much better IMO if you gain the proper skills first, and then present yourself.

You could also of course just call it "punk" title writing. That would work, too.

It wasn't just your post and honestly you had a proper reason for selling stuff as you are financing something else that is your passion. Also you stated that you had every intention of coming back. I was referring more to the posts that state how they've had it with flaky musicians, nobody appreciates them, etc. and "That's it!!! I'm selling everything!!".
