NBD NBD! Had to wait an extra few months for this one because it had it's finish stripped by the previous owner. We just clicked and so I wanted to try bring it back to it's former glory.

We're currently getting to know each other, but I'm really enjoying it so far. I love the different personalities of these old Fenders.

Wanted to share :)

Thanks all! @JLY yeah this is the final product from the refin :)

Plays really well! My go to strings are Fender 9050 flats but I got a little crazy and threw some tapes on it. I'm rolling off the treble to about an 8 and the tone to about 9 and it's loads of fun. Reminds me of a Harmony H-22 I had a while back -- but with a good bit more thump and focus

I just moved so a lot of my cables are still in boxes, but if I can find a line in I'll throw a quick recording together so you can have a listen

Absolutely gorgeous! A white Jazz with the matching headstock is as classy as it gets and is on my bucket list. The fact that it's Pre-CBS is even better.

Any idea what the original finish was?

I also have a '64 Jazz that was refinished which I bought decades ago, which has since been modified (although I still have the original pickups.) I've thought about having it refinished as well (white with matching headstock like yours,) but it has about 100 autographs on it, so I'm hesitant.

Wow, sweet. Who did the re-fin? Looks like a perfect relic finish! Is white the original finish it came with from the factory? Did they re-finish the headstock too? Original pickups?
