I finally got to put together a bass I've always wanted. My absolute favorite look on a bass is a black body with a maple black block neck. I've been looking to assemble a PJ in this configuration for a while, and I finally had that vision come to life. Happy to say, it's all finished and certainly doesn't disappoint!

The bass parts consist of a 2006 MIM Precision Special body, 2017 MIM Geddy Lee neck, EMG Geezer pickups (all passive), black Gotoh bridge, and black Hipshot tuners. The bass is nice and light, which is key for me. The MIM neck is a very pleasant surprise. It plays amazing and is a bit thicker than the MIJ Geddy necks I've had in the past. I'd been wanting to try out the Geezer pickups for a while and they just sound awesome! The solderless connection makes them that much better.

All in all, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out, and just wanted to share!

Just stunning!
One of the best looking basses ever
Black on Black with maple neck and black hardware
What is left to want but to build one of my own

Side note: a bit weird seeing Fender Jazz Bass written on the head stock with a Precision body but that is something only another bass player would notice... which actually makes it that much more cooler!
