I really like the green bodies some of you have. I just looked and think I’ll have to save a few more pennies and order an emerald green Kiloton since this Tribute SB-2 has me looking for another to keep it company.
Thank you as well for the pg suggestions and pics. I still haven’t decided, but the parchment caught my eye.

I would either leave it exactly as is, or else go with White Pearloid guard. Another contender would be Mint; but the plain white or white pearloid would be best IMO. Beautiful bass, by the way!!

lemme see if this works

View attachment 4448005 I recently purchased my Tribute SB-2 three weeks ago from Sweetwater and they list the weight which is an added bonus. I chose 9.2 and it feels and plays like a dream. For me its difficult to put into words how different this bass is compared to my others: MIA Fender J, Aerodyne, Hoppus, Mustang, and TMB500. The MFD pickups are dynamic and unique, action so responsive to the pluck, neck to string play effortless. Apologize for my basic description I am a novice who just enjoys playing the BASS!

I got a nice one for my 2018 USA Kiloton from pickguardplanet.com, but looking at that bass, it's hard to imagine it with a better looking PG. That black PG on that red-burst reminds me of sitting on the beach in Mexico sipping mai-tais & watching the sun go down. That's just my imagination running wild. Of course, if you return it to standard, it'll sure have a bunch of extra holes in it. I also have a 2007 SB-2. I love the idea of a bass without a tone control!

If I do get a new pickguard I'd definitely stick with three-ply black like the original one.
