If you luck out and were born on either the fifth day of the month (5 is the code for a Precision bass neck) or the seventh day of the month (7 is the code for a Jazz Bass neck) and get one that has the same month and year you were born you get the same fantastic feeling you got the first time you saw "Shell Oil" on a calculator screen. Am I showing my age again? Damn! I hate when that happens. :laugh:

UUUUUUMMMMMMM... I'm in (from) L.A., and My Girl has bought Me a few. Aaaaannnnd, has talked me out of selling just as many. Although... She's from Kentucky... :bassist::hyper::roflmao:

She has also PROMISED to get Me a '68, P bass, when I find THE ONE that I want. Although, I did give Her (US) the worlds most AMAZING Daughter, and... bought Her a house...

My bad, I grew up with a Fullerton reissue that has the day of the month too, I thought it was standard method.

That's your thing and that's cool. OP is a collector and clearly vibes with a nostalgia thing that you don't feel. It's not for me to interpret the intent. Sigh. Why do I feel like I'm trying to explain "sentimentality" to Mr. Spock?
