New Fender Bass?

Now, if they'd painted it the same color as that guy's hair...
Other than that, nice tone variety...the best-sounding Fender I've heard lately. I like what he does with Blackbird.

The Fender detractors can't say "What, another take on the Precision/Jazz bass?"

I think it's an attractive looking bass.
However... sharp binding, and it LOOKS like a neckdive extravaganza. I'll wait until I actually get my hands on one before I pass final judgement... buuuut... I'm highly skeptical.

I think it's nice that they're stepped out a little bit. Of course, none of us will buy it because (a) it's a CS model and probably costs more than one of those snazzy Buick SUVs and (b) it's not a Precision or Jazz.

It reminds me of something. Didn't Ibanez have a body shape vaguely like that?

Don't like it. Ugly, and it has that crappy semihollow sort of tone. Cool that Fender is trying something "new", but I can't see this lasting long.
