Agreed. I don't mind not getting 10-15% off because all my experiences both pre and post buying have been excellent.

I purchased two Keeley pedals from them. One was squealing no matter where I put it in the chain. I explained the situation and my sales guy asked if I wanted to return it or speak to tech support. I went ahead and returned it and he even reviewed pictures I had taken of my packing to ensure I wouldn't be charged a package and handling return fee.

That said, I wouldn't mind them offering a 5% discount once in a blue moon, but I get that they don't discount because they try to do everything else right for both the customers and their team members.

They do discount, you just have have to ask. I just ask my rep, "what is you price for x, y and z" and it's always between 10 and 20% off. My BB434 was $429.99 (listed price $499.99).

Minimum wage is only a “poverty wage” when people live beyond their means.
Yes if their means consists of not stating a family, eating ramen noodles, never going out, sharing a crappy apartment with 4 other people, and being one medical emergency away from complete and total financial ruin, sure... at least in the northeast you absolutely cannot sustain a family with 2 minimum wage salaries.

It's a starting wage. Foot in the door wage.

If you have a family and are making minimum wage, you have made some very poor life decisions.
