Official Barefaced Bass Cab Club

That was a great comparison! All of the cabs sounded great in their own right. Based on that video, I think my favorite was actually the One10T. That being said, the BB3 is probably the closest to my FR800, which I know and love. Still, that One10T is very impressive!
A One10T and One10 is all I need.

What amp(s) and cab(s) do you currently have, why are you tempted and why are you afraid of being disappointed?
I got rid of my bass stuff a while back, as I thought I was done with bass guitar.

I found out it's not that easy to leave all things bass behind, so I recently bought a Cort B5 Element and a decent DI box and am deciding if I need an amp & cab or combo.

I currently practice using a small mixer and headphones.

It's not fear, it's more deciding what I 'need' and then getting the money together (limited income).

If I do buy, I'll probably be looking to used equipment first, but you never know what the future holds.

I'm used to really good sounding equipment, so that doesn't help financially.

My BB3 has been spectacular since it arrived in February, but the allure of the 10CRA driver can’t be denied. I’ll be placing an order for the Three 10 in late December. I originally went with BB3 instead of the Three 10 because of the compact and light weight design. I have always liked a tall portrait cab the best and the Three 10 and Super Twin have that with casters for mobility. Will be fun to try them out side by side. One will get sold, but which one? 🧐

So I snagged a pair of 210 S cabs, and they are super cool sounding with an amazing form factor, but I dont know when I'll learn that I am a tweeter guy, non negotiably.... If anyone is interested in the pair of Two10 S cabs with covers, holler at me.

I recently acquired a Two10 and a One10 (separate transactions). What I've found is that these cabs have differing frequency resonances, and behave differently with different heads.
The Two10 sounds good with the few amps I've used (Milkman Half & Half, 60's Fender Showman, GK 400RB, Mesa D800) but the One10 has only really worked with the GK. It just has a some low mid boomy resonance that I couldn't dial out. And that said, I had to disengage the low boost button and dial down the bass knob on the RB. But the One10 with the GK sounds killer after those adjustments. Even the Mesa, with all of its options wasn't working, which makes me think having two of the One10 cabs will not be the same as having one Two10.
Admittedly not a large amp selection so far. I am very interested to try an Ampeg with both.

Very interesting. I have a Two10 (no tweeter), which I really like, and I always figured that one or two Two10T's would be ideal. But then I thought about a Six10T, and then Alex introduced the Three10T, and now I'm really smitten my this One10T... Damn your addictive designs, Alex! :help:;)

Of course, I'm also heavily influenced by Dan Veall's Big Twin 3 review! And then they come out with the Big 24!!!

All kidding aside, Barefaced has really done some wonderful things with both their 10CR and 12XN lines of cabs. You can't go wrong!

Two10T or Three10T: Which has discernibly better high mids and tweeter crossover, if either?

My Two10T has full, warm bass that scales up great with volume, and the tweeter can lend it presence, but when A/B'd my kids consistently choose our 12" Genzler Bass Array.

I know the comparison there is as American as orange pie.

Not the same amp, but my One10T is wonderful with my WD800 in 2Ω mode.

The more I think about it and the more I read about Barefaced, the more I want a Big Twin 3. With the silver cloth front. Go big or go home, right?

I'm currently playing Epifani cabs. Do we happen to have someone in the room who made the switch from Epi to Barefaced and can share some insight?

Anyone looking for a nice bag/case for One10 should checkout the Meinl Lrg Ibo bag. Perfect dims and padded w hardsides. Ill get some pics up in a bit.
My current rig is a One10 and One10T. I have Meinl bags for both and can’t recommend them enough. For smaller gigs, I use just one and there’s the perfect amount of space for my GK MB200 in a GK gig bag. It’s the best sounding small rig I’ve ever had.

My main jones lately is the Quilter BBV803 and a Super Compact - not much chance of being disappointed there - we will see where I land.

After my Quilter BB800 and SC experience I’d say there’s a chance. I certainly wouldn’t run that pair again. I flipped my BB800 and kept the SC.

I’ve been running a BB800 + SuperTwin for over a year now. The ST takes care of business. With my passive Reverend, I would call it meaty and focused.

Played out today with an Americana trio. Small room, just vocals in the PA. I used less volume than a typical rehearsal. No problem filling out the low end.
