+1.
I am a bit biased but I really think the 20th/30th combo are the best 2 basses EBMM has made (excluding extremely rare limited Family Reserve basses possibly).
I sold my Bongo, Sterling, Stingray 2007 LE 4 string and standard natural SR5 H as the 20th/30th are all in need. I kinda miss my beastly Bongo, but not the others!
Played em all, and yeah those 2 are definitely the best theyve got. the only one i regret not having cash for? THE BLUE BALL FAMILY RESERVE BIRSDEYE GLOSSED NECK SR20TH 5 HH ETH MATCHING HEADSTOCK. oNE OF TEN MADE.

Here's my EBMM Fretless 1992

Most, if not all, EB fretless are pau ferro. A few rosewood fretless may have slipped through in 84 or 85, but only because the Pre-EBs were rosewood.
My '88 is definitely rosewood. And judging from the registration info on www.musicmanbass.org, it seems that Pau Ferro was indeed introduced in the early 90's.
@D. Don: Beautiful! What strings do you have on it?
Well, my first EBMM didn't go so well- I got a SUB in black but I didn't really like it that much. About a month ago though I picked up this guy and love it. It's my new number one bass!
2001 SR5 black with matching headstock and Black Pearl pickguard
The latest addition to my EBMM clan. The now discontinued Carbon Blue finish which I ordered back in mid August and it arrived yesterday.

Love the Black/Black Pearl.............Really looks good on the Stingray 5! Wait, are those Candy Cane Boxers in the lower photo?

I love the black with matching headstock/black pearloid pg! Awesome fiver!
About carbon blue pearl, it just looks so ford taurus to me. I find it out of place on an EBMM. But to each their own.
