Origin Effects BassRig Ampeg B15 Fliptop recreation

I’d definitely buy it!

And while it might be expensive it’ll probably be cheaper than new tubes and a set up for my ‘67 B15 (with current tube prices).

I do hope it’ll get an XLR out and a switch to choose between the different B15 models. You have the two iconic 60’s models and while you’re at it: throw in the 70’s version too. That’s a bit more SVT’ish.

And of course the matching speaker sims.

I am a big fan of the OE gear btw. I’ve owned the SV for about two years which I use as my DI out to send a very accurate copy of my Ampeg SVT + 810 sound to FOH. I don’t even need to mic my stack up anymore. For drive I use their DCX Bass. All amazing stuff.

Oooh....the outstanding construction build quality of OE in a B15 box? Yes, please! Now, I love my SGT, but I would go for this. With better availability than the never-available Broughton Fliptop

C'mon Santa Origin, we've all been good boys and girls this year!! :hyper:

This would be my dream pedal basically. Been thinking about pulling the trigger on the Black Panel but what I really want is this. Considering how popular the B15 is on recordings, there’s a surprising lack of true B15 emulators out there (with cabsim).

@Origin_Effects one request I’d like to make if this were to become a reality: it’d be nice to be able to optionally have the cab sim on the 1/4” output. Similarly it would be nice to be able to optionally disable cab sim on the XLR output altogether.
