Out for Delivery. My three favorite words in the English Vocabulary.

That's a great deal on a American Standard P Bass. If you have more Bass shopping to do, there's Labor Day weekend sales at most major music retailers going on right now. That Bass will always put a smile on your face and let you play it anytime you want, can't say as much for some wife's.

Watcha got coming Bonz? No pic no bass ;)

This order should be four necks (I think, I've got a lot of balls in the air at the moment).

I'll be making more of these bad boys:
The Official Medium Scale Bass Club

I just picked up three sets of absolutely gorgeous flamed/spalted/birdseye maple caps last night locally -- I'm going to make two basses as alder with maple cap bodies, maple/maple necks, and one bass as alder with maple cap, maple/rosewood.
I have a pre-cut, partially finished maple body I picked up recently that I may build into the fourth one with a maple/maple neck.

Pics on delivery, hopefully later this morning.

Ain't that the truth lol. I'm all done bass shopping for now, and maybe for along time. I have my jazz, my stringray and my P bass. What more does a guy need? I did also just score an Eden Ec-10 for $179 that I will use for at home practice and very small gigs.

I fould flip if it was out for delivery, because I always set my packages to Will Call & pick them up the their depot.
I learned this saves me lots of trouble.
1. I can get my packages about 5 hours earlier than waiting for them.
2. no one delivers to the wrong address, w/o a signature, leaving the package in the rain on a doorstep

I always have stuff delivered to my office. My office is pretty close to the front door, and we're up a set of stairs and down a hallway with some other businesses, so stuff doesn't get left outside. There's always someone here to sign if need be.
It works out good for me...

I do this, or deliver to the office at my apartment. Someone there to sign, and it sits in air conditioning until I get it.

Good news, bad news, bad news.

Good news: the package was delivered.

Bad news: the package got randomly chosen to pay duty ($56).

Bad news: I think all 4 necks are twisted. I've got them sitting flat on a desk hoping against hope they might acclimatize.
