Mine, nothing fancy:

3.2 GHz AMD Windows XP machine, 1 gig RAM, 80 and 160 gig HDDs
Creamware Pulsar soundcard (kind of a dead-end platform, in a way--doesn't even have XP drivers--but I'm not gonna toss it while it's still working)
Alesis AI-8 analog-to-ADAT converter
Event speakers (damned if I can remember the model) and Sony headphones (IIRC, HDRsomethingsomething06, or not)
Logic Platinum 5.51
Mackie Tracktion 2
VSTis: SampleTank XL, Amplitude, FXpansion DR-008 (drums)
Cheap-ass MIDI controller keyboard, the name of which I can't even recall
Presonus BlueTube pre (one channel not working, not crazy about it anyway) and BlueMax compressor; gotta replace these one day
POD 2 and Bass POD
Two Oktava MC012 small diaphragm condensers
One CAD E-200 large diaphragm condenser
One Sennheiser MD421 dynamic
A few sample CDs

My little home studio:

P9100004.JPG

Consists of:

Yamaha AW1600 16-track digital recorder
Carvin DCM150 power amp w/PM5 reference monitors
Alesis NanoVerb
Alesis NanoCompressor
Alesis SR16 drum machine
Philips CDR775 Audio CD recorder

I just replaced my old Yamaha MD8 with the AW1600 which has an internal effects processor and CD burner. Of course that now eliminates the need for the Alesis Nano effects and the Philips CD recorder.

MZ, I'm IMMEDIATELY jealous of that cinema display. Wowza!

I'm not sure how space contstrains you, but have you ever considered moving the monitoring area away from the wall and form under the "cave" created from the shelf?

Anything played through those Rolands must sound pretty nice, but you'll get a much deeper and accurate (less acoustically colored) sound field if you pull the monitors away from the wall about 2-4 feet.

GEEZ I'm SO jealous of that cinema display!!! Haha. I'm surprised no one else is showing off their Powermac?

Hey Tames,

Thanks for the tip,
I dont know if ill be able to move em a whole 2-4 feet away from the wall, cause they would be hanging off the table by then :D
Ill see what i can do though thanks!

Oh and the cinema display is very nice... I was in the mac store this weekend, And seeing the 30" inch display next to my 20" was crazy. Those things are HUGE!!

The first time I saw a 30" was at the Apple store in Chicago. Twas the world premiere night of OSX 10.4, Tiger... They had the dual 2.5GHz powermacs running dual 30" monitors. It was SPECTACULAR!

I'll have pictures later:

2nd revision 17" iMac g5 2.0 ghz w/ 250 GB Hard Drive and 2 GB of Ram
Presonus Firepod Firewire Audio Interface
Cheap ass 88 key electric piano
Lexicon MPX-200 multieffects
Stanton Str8-100 Direct drive turntable(with cheap stanton mixer and crates of vinyl)
Shure SM58 Microphone
Sennheiser Pro HD280 Headphones
Roland JP-8080 Synth/modeler/vocoder
Garageband v2.0 software(going to upgrade to logic eventually)

No monitors, but I have some decent stereo speakers that are currently not working(thanks to my busted technics receiver)
