Thank You Scientist
Oh yeah, I got turned on to Thank You Scientist several years ago...probably from TalkBass! I got their album Maps Of Non-Existent Places on CD. They're definitely good, and quirky enough to be memorable.

Congrats. That debut album is a tough find (at a reasonable cost).Oh yeah, I got turned on to Thank You Scientist several years ago...probably from TalkBass! I got their album Maps Of Non-Existent Places on CD. They're definitely good, and quirky enough to be memorable.
Anyone heard of the band Embryo? I recently discovered it. It is a German prog/jazz rock/krautrock band from the seventies. Really nice music and good playing. They have many albums.
Jon is sounding good on it.
It rocks, it has Celtic bits, has a dynamic singer, choirs, operatic vocals, and the absolute best:
Gavin Harrison drumming!
I'll definitely check that out; having Gavin onboard is like having the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval for modern progressive music!
Have you heard any of his work with 05Ric?
Rob’s Kompendium project is my favorite. Stunning combo of players...
