I really do get a kick out of the Duke's design. I imagine the conversation at Kramer went something like this:

"We gotta get in on this headless thing!"

"Great, what's my budget to develop the bridge tuning system?"

"Zero, we spent it all on aluminum necks."

"Uh ... OK, I guess..."

I’ve done some research, this is / was a Hondo Alien!
No matter! Have too many projects in spin but still forging ahead with plans for the Explorer body curly redwood, 2 pickups.
